My best friend forever (well, since we were 7) found this quilt top at an estate sale and paid $.25 for it!!! That's 25 CENTS! I talked her into letting me quilt the top......It was a challenge. The quilter had handpieced it and wasn't too accurate with seams, etc. But I think it came out great!!!! Thank you, Diane, for trusting me with this!!!

Red White, and Blue Star Quilt
This beautiful quilt was made by my fellow quilter, Marie. It's an absolutely stunning quilt to begin with! The pattern is called Eldon in a book called Laundry Basket Quilts. This quilt measures 90 x 100"!!!
2012 Southwestern Quilt for the Shriners
It's been a while since I posted!!! This quilt is called SOUTHWESTERN --- the pattern for the quilt is called Midnight in Santa Fe by J. Michelle Watts. My friend, Patrick pieced the quilt and I quilted it for the Yuma Shriner's to raffle off this winter! The total size is 97" x 100". There are so many components to it....all freemotion quilted. This was a fun quilt to make! YES, I actually found time to piece this quilt -- I actually designed, pieced AND quilted it. It's a special quilt for my hairdresser :) We bartered -- I won't be paying for hair cuts for a lONG time to come. :) I got the patterns for the blocks from various places ---internet, books, magazines AND one block is my own design.
