Texas Star quilt
The owner of this quilt and I lovingly call this quilt "the Monster". It's 100" x 110" and seem HUGE compared to others! It's paper pieced! The block is called Texas Star from the book "50 Fabulous Paper Pieced Stars" by Carol Doak. The owner, Cathy, wanted LOTS of feathers and McTavishing (the background filler by the stars). I used invisible thread around the stars and on the 'teepees' on the border. The rest was quilted with Superior's King Tut thread and Hobbs 80/20 batting. To say I enjoyed doing the feathers and McTavishing is putting it mildly -- I loved it!!!!

Lone Star Tablecloth
This quilt was pieced by my friend, Cathy K. It started out as a quilt for her bed, but ended up being a quilt for her table! It's approximately 76" x 76". I quilted it with Hobbs 80/20 batting and Superior's Lava thread on top and So Fine in the bobbin.
Navajo Sarape
This is a Southwestern quilt called "Navajo Sarape" pieced by my good friend, Patrick. The design was made by J. Michelle Watts and is 96" x 100".
A baby quilt
This is a pretty cool baby quilt. The customer fussy cut the designs for the centers of the block. She wanted basic meandering, however, I couldn't JUST do basic meandering. I added a little "style" to the quilting.

Carol's Batik quilt
Friend, Carol had me quilt this beautiful quilt for her. She made the quilt for her daughter. This was the first time I ever quilted on batiks and was surprised how easy it was. I had heard they were hard to quilt! I call the design I used "Funky Fern Feathers with Flower". :)
